Duran Duran honored with new Royal Mail stamp collection

Royal Mail is releasing a new collection of postage stamps to honor the career of the British rock band Duran Duran. The collection arrives during the 45th anniversary of the group's self-titled debut album.

The set includes eight stamps featuring artwork from various albums in the band's discography, spanning from their 1981 debut to 2021's ‘Future Past’. Additionally, a miniature sheet of four stamps will commemorate the band's live performances through various tour posters, ranging from the 1980s to the 2020s.

Lead singer Simon Le Bon described the collection as a “massive visual validation of the band and its history,” noting that the recognition serves as a testament to the group's longevity and work since their formation in 1978. The stamps will be available for general sale starting September 17.
