Durango cultural venues host new photography exhibition and regional tour

The Museo Francisco Villa in Durango is hosting new cultural activities, including a photographic exhibition and a regional excursion.

Artist Eduardo Acevedo has inaugurated ‘Visiones Oníricas’ (Dreamlike Visions), an exhibition exploring the boundary between the conscious and unconscious mind. The series uses photography to capture elements of the psyche, such as recurring dreams and nostalgic encounters.

Additionally, the ‘Enamórate de Durango’ program offers a public excursion to Nuevo Ideal on August 16. For 350 pesos, the seven-hour tour includes visits to the Santiaguillo lagoon, the Guatimapé former hacienda, the mining town of Tejamen, and Mennonite colonies. The trip coincides with the Regional Cheese and Apple Fair.
