Durban City FC reportedly dismisses coach Khalil Ben Youssef

Durban City FC has reportedly parted ways with Tunisian coach Khalil Ben Youssef following a difficult start to the Betway Premiership season. Ben Youssef, who was appointed in June, saw his tenure end after seven league matches, during which the club secured one victory, four draws, and two defeats.

Despite the domestic struggles, Ben Youssef successfully guided Durban City through the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup, defeating Burundi’s Rukinzo FC 3-1 on aggregate.

His departure marks the fifth coaching change in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) within the first two months of the season. Other recent departures include Cedric Kaze at Sekhukhune United, Lehlohonolo Seema at Siwelele FC, Phuti Mohafe at Marumo Gallants, and Ronnie Gabriel at Richards Bay FC.
