The party has sought time for the Prime Minister to attend a Mahalaya programme and is preparing for a potential visit to Eden Gardens in Kolkata.
In Bangladesh, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed announced increased government funding and enhanced security protocols for the Sharadiya Durga Puja. Following a high-level coordination meeting, responsibilities for ensuring smooth celebrations have been assigned across national, divisional, and district levels. Government funding for puja mandaps has been increased to BDT 5 crore following directives from Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
