La Salle University celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month

La Salle University is hosting a series of events to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15. The celebrations aim to honor the histories, cultures, and contributions of individuals with roots in Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

Organized in collaboration with the Organization of Latin American Students (OLAS) and other community groups, the schedule includes salsa dancing with live instructors, karaoke nights, and the ‘Cultura y Commerce’ event featuring the entrepreneurial story of Oseguera’s. The month-long observance also includes movie screenings and personal business story presentations.
