Dursunbey receives 174 million TL forestry infrastructure investment
A groundbreaking ceremony was held in the Dursunbey district of Balıkesir for the new service buildings of the Alaçam and Dursunbey Forest Management Directorates. The project represents a total investment of 174 million TL aimed at modernizing forestry services and strengthening the region's infrastructure.
Balıkesir Forest Regional Manager Musa Şen noted that Dursunbey is a significant forestry center in Turkey due to its extensive forest resources and advanced timber industry. While the official completion date for construction is set for April 2028, the goal is to finalize the investment by the end of 2027.
Dursunbey Mayor Ramazan Bahçavan described the project as a prestigious investment that aligns with the district's identity as a forestry hub.
