Dušan Kerkez criticizes Walter Mazzarri after Super League draw

Specifically, Kerkez claimed that Mazzarri refused to shake his hand after the match, stating, “I tried to give him my hand, and he did not give it to me.” The Bosnian coach further criticized Mazzarri’s conduct on the sidelines, alleging that the Italian manager was smoking cigarettes on the bench during the game, which Kerkez described as unacceptable behavior for a professional.

Comparing the two, Kerkez cited José Luis Mendilibar as a model of professional conduct, noting that despite language barriers, Mendilibar always maintained respect. Kerkez concluded by stating that despite Mazzarri’s extensive career and trophy count, his actions earned him “zero” respect in his eyes.
