Dusan Vlahovic remains clubless as Napoli deal stalls over high costs

Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic is still without a club after leaving Juventus. His representatives have set wage demands of about €8‑9 million net plus a €10 million signing bonus, which Napoli consider prohibitive. The Italian side would need to free up salary space by off‑loading players such as Romelu Lukaku and Lucca before any deal could be viable, and no formal negotiations have been reported.

Journalist Luca Calamai highlighted that a chance to stay in Italy was missed when Vlahovic ignored a late overture from former Napoli coach Massimiliano Allegri. Calamai also noted Lukaku’s marginalised status at Napoli, underscoring the club’s broader transfer challenges.

As of now, Vlahovic remains a free agent awaiting interest from a top European club.
