Duskfade launches on multiple platforms including Nintendo Switch 2

The action-platformer Duskfade, developed by Weird Beluga and published by Fireshine Games, has launched on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2. The game features a clockpunk aesthetic and is heavily inspired by PlayStation 2-era titles such as Kingdom Hearts, Jak & Daxter, and Sly Cooper.

Players control Zirian, a protagonist equipped with a clockwork sword and accompanied by a mechanical companion named Cuckoo. The narrative follows Zirian's quest to rescue his sister from a mysterious clock tower in a world plunged into eternal night. Gameplay involves exploring diverse environments, including ethereal forests and sunken realms, while utilizing various combat and platforming abilities.

Critical reception has been generally positive. On OpenCritic, the game holds an 81 percent rating based on 40 reviews, while the PlayStation version has earned 79 points on Metacritic from 15 critics. The title has also received favorable feedback from users on Steam.
