Duskin enters hygiene support agreement with Hyogo Prefecture
Duskin Co., Ltd. has signed an agreement with Hyogo Prefecture to support the maintenance of hygienic environments in evacuation centers during disasters or large-scale accidents. Under this agreement, Duskin will provide rental equipment, transportation, installation, and cleaning or disinfection services to protect the health and lives of evacuees.
This partnership brings Duskin’s total number of agreements with local governments to 115. The company intends to utilize its hygiene management expertise and nationwide network to ensure rapid and detailed support when requested by the prefecture.
Separately, a Duskin survey regarding year-end cleaning habits in Japan revealed that the implementation rate reached a record low of 50.5% at the end of 2025. The data indicates a shift in consumer mindset, where the motivation for cleaning has moved from “welcoming the New Year” toward “cleaning areas that cannot be reached during daily routines.”
