Dustin Wolf to wear Miikka Kiprusoff-inspired gear for Calgary Flames

Calgary Flames goaltender Dustin Wolf is paying tribute to legendary Finnish goalie Miikka Kiprusoff by wearing replica equipment inspired by Kiprusoff’s 2003-04 season. As the Flames introduce throwback jerseys to commemorate their run to the 2004 Stanley Cup Finals, Wolf has collaborated with CCM to recreate the iconic look, including a mask featuring Kiprusoff’s signature flaming skull design.

Wolf noted that the gear serves as a way to honor Kiprusoff’s significant legacy in Calgary. The goaltender worked with the original mask artist to ensure the new version remained faithful to the historical design. Wolf is expected to debut the vintage equipment during the Flames' upcoming game against the Detroit Red Wings.
