Dutch and Belgian Summer Fairs Unveil Programs and New Activities for July 2026

The annual Zomerfeesten Rietmolen in the Dutch village of Rietmolen will take place from 9 to 12 July 2026. After eight years as chairman, Wilco Strijbosch will hand over the role to Loys ten Vregelaar. The four‑day event, organized by about 400‑500 volunteers, will feature the local rock band Bökkers, a community competition called De Grote Rietmolen Show, and an after‑party with DJ Yobo and De Lingo’s.

In Belgium, the Kobbegem Kermis will run from 17 to 20 July 2026. The programme adds a new “Social Run” (6 km) and a gravel ride, while traditional attractions such as “Kip aan’t Spit” and the Meetschieting remain. The highlight on Sunday evening is a free concert, “Marcel zingt Boudewijn,” where Marcel de Groot and guest musicians will perform songs by Boudewijn de Groot. The closing night will feature performances by Laura Lynn, Sergio, DNSBR and DJ Joost.
