Dutch bridge clubs report recent competition results

Local bridge clubs in the Netherlands held recent competitive sessions. At Bridgeclub Star, the fifth evening of the internal fours competition saw all 20 participating teams present. Team DBBFV achieved the highest score of 31.69 WP. The upcoming final will feature the top four teams—Star 2, Star 1, Lejeune, and Hilte—competing for the top positions through a series of semi-finals and finals.

At Bridgeclub Waalwijk, the fourth competition evening involved 36 pairs. A notable achievement occurred in the A-line, where Hanny de Rooij and Maarten van de Pas successfully completed a seven sans atout contract, earning a 100 percent score. They also secured first place in the A-line with 63.08 percent. Other winners included Marijke Schilders and Ilona van den Akker in the B-line, and Ria Claasen and Willy van Heeswijk in the C-line.
