Dutch Bros stock hits 52-week low amid growth concerns

Dutch Bros Inc. shares have experienced a significant decline, falling 49% from their 52-week high and recently hitting new lows. This downward trend follows a period of strong second-quarter results where revenue grew 32% year-over-year and net income rose to $51.6 million.

Despite these gains, the stock has faced pressure due to softer near-term guidance, including expected deceleration in same-shop sales growth to between 4% and 5%. Additionally, the company faces rising costs for coffee and food, as well as increased capital expenditure targets to support its goal of operating 2,029 shops by 2029.

Financial analysts have reacted to the volatility with various adjustments. DA Davidson lowered its price target for the stock from $85.00 to $60.00, while Raymond James Financial set a target of $59.00. Despite these downgrades, the company maintains a consensus rating of 'Moderate Buy' among various research firms.
