Dutch businesses seek to expand investment in Tay Ninh

The Dutch Business Association in Vietnam (DBAV), led by Chairman Wietse Mutters, recently met with leaders of Tay Ninh province to discuss expanding investment and trade cooperation. Dutch businesses expressed high interest in the province due to its strategic location connecting Ho Chi Minh City, the Mekong Delta, and Cambodia, as well as its developing infrastructure, logistics, and industrial land availability.

A key highlight of the bilateral cooperation is the joint venture between the Dutch company De Heus and the Vietnamese Hung Nhon Group. This partnership is implementing a large-scale high-tech agricultural complex in Tay Ninh, aimed at transforming the province into a major center for high-tech livestock farming and poultry export in the Southeast region.

The project includes a series of 12 component projects with a total investment of approximately 10,000 billion VND. Utilizing a closed “Feed - Farm - Food” value chain model, specific projects such as DHN Tay Ninh 1 and DHN Tay Ninh 2 are currently underway, with DHN Tay Ninh 2 expected to be operational by early 2027.
