Dutch clubs vv Hoogland and ADO Den Haag set fixtures for 2026‑27 season

vv Hoogland will compete in the KNVB’s western 4th Division A for the 2026‑27 season, moving from Division D to face teams from Utrecht and North Holland. The club’s captain Coen Heus said the change offers a tougher but less physical competition. Their opening match is a regional derby against SDV Barneveld on 29 August 2026.

ADO Den Haag have returned to the Eredivisie after a five‑year absence and are preparing with a series of friendlies. The team beat the Westlands Eleven 6‑0, following an earlier 5‑1 victory over Laakkwartier. New contracts have been signed with forward Jesse Bal and other key players, and the club unveiled a black home shirt with red, green and grey accents for the upcoming campaign.
