Dutch father funds Disneyland trip by collecting recyclables

Michael Snel, a father from Amersfoort, Netherlands, has successfully funded a family trip to Disneyland Paris by collecting discarded beverage containers. Over a period of approximately two years, Snel gathered 10,600 bottles and cans from public spaces.

The recycling effort yielded approximately 1,600 euros, which was used to cover the costs of the family vacation. Snel noted that while his unconventional method initially drew skepticism and mockery from those around him, his goal was to fulfill his children's wish through his own dedicated efforts rather than out of financial necessity.
