Ajax Amsterdam player updates and transfer news

Ajax Amsterdam technical director Jordi Cruijff expressed pride in the successful, discreet acquisition of Julian Brandt, noting the difficulty of competing with Spanish clubs for talent. Meanwhile, midfielder Rayane Bounida, currently recovering from injury, remains open to extending his contract which runs until mid-2028, though he emphasizes the need to prove his fitness and form first.

In other club news, striker Tolu Arokodare has received two nominations for Ajax’s Goal of the Month award for October following decisive performances in the Eredivisie and UEFA Conference League. Former professional Kenneth Perez highlighted Arokodare, Brandt, and talent Abdellah Ouazane as key players currently driving the team's performance.
