Dutch football clubs Helmond Sport and FC Groningen announce new player signings

Helmond Sport has announced the signing of 20-year-old Slovenian central defender Lovro Golič on a one-season loan from KV Mechelen. Golič, who stands 1.93 meters tall, previously spent three seasons in the youth academy of AS Roma and has experience playing for Slovenia's Under-21 national team.

In the Eerste Divisie, FC Groningen has signed goalkeeper Boevink to bolster their squad following a long-term cruciate ligament injury to Rijk Janse. Boevink, who previously played for Jong FC Groningen between 2017 and 2019, returns to the club after a seven-year career in Germany playing for clubs such as SC Paderborn and Greuther Fürth.
