Dutch football players Thomas Kok and Blokzijl sign contract extensions

Several Dutch football players have secured contract extensions. Thomas Kok has returned to De Graafschap, signing a new deal that runs until mid-2027. The 28-year-old defender, who previously played 29 matches for the club during the 2025/2026 season, had been a free agent since his previous contract expired last summer.

Additionally, Blokzijl has extended his stay with FC Groningen. Despite previously expressing a desire to move on, the defender has committed to the club. Blokzijl, who has made 111 appearances for the team, currently serves as the club captain following the departure of Stije Resink.
