Dutch futsal clubs see mixed results in season opener

The opening round of the new futsal season saw mixed results for several Dutch clubs. Futsal Haaglanden secured a dominant 6-1 victory against ZVV Middelburg. Jasmina Hadzimusic scored twice early in the match, with additional goals from Priscilla Mesker, Alyssa Dijkstra, Priscilla de Vos, and Celine van der Toorn sealing the win.

In the Eredivisie Futsal Vrouwen, Drs. Vijfje lost their first match 2-4 to FC M. A. R. L. É. N. E. Despite an early lead and a halftime equalizer by Sam Bosma, the team conceded two quick goals shortly after the break, including an own goal by captain Laurien de Jonge. Coach Sven van Dam noted that while individual errors led to the loss, the team's preparation was positive despite missing injured players.

In the men's Eredivisie, Futsal Groningen suffered a 3-2 defeat against ZVV in Eindhoven. The match was marked by a red card for Groningen goalkeeper Frank Woldring before the halftime break.
