Dutch horticultural companies introduce new plant varieties and organic bouquets
In the Dutch horticultural sector, Kolster BV is set to present eight new garden plants at the Plantarium|Groen-Direkt event on August 26 and 27. Among the new varieties are Clematis Magical Milou, Eryngium Magical Red Thunder, and Physocarpus Magical Citrus Lemonade, three of which have been nominated for the Green Retail Awards. The company is also introducing new blue branding pots for its Magical Garden Plants collection.
Separately, Plantion has expanded its product range by introducing Skal-certified organic bouquets sourced from Kwekerij op 't Hof. These bouquets, branded as ‘Bloemenhofke’, are available in three sizes and feature recycled paper packaging. The initiative aims to make organic options more accessible to florists through the Plantion webshop, supporting a broader strategic focus on organic trade and certification support for growers.
