Dutch majorette clubs secure multiple competition victories

Majorette clubs in the Netherlands have reported successful starts to their autumn competition season.

Muziekvereniging Polyhymnia achieved three first-place finishes during a competition in Elburg on September 12. The club’s A-team, B-team, and Pom group all secured first prizes, with the A-team earning a promotion. These results have qualified all three groups for the Overijssel Championship.

Separately, majorette association Sint Jan Elshout competed in Hoogerheide on September 13. The club’s youth groups earned two first-place finishes, qualifying them for the Brabant championships. Individual performers also secured podium spots in technical and dance twirl categories, while members received a ‘no-drop certificate’ for maintaining control of their equipment throughout their performances.
