Dutch municipalities outline council agendas and appointments for June‑July 2026

The Aalsmeer municipal council met on 25 June 2026, where outgoing child mayor Marije delivered a farewell speech and Julyanah was installed as the new child mayor for the 2026/2027 school year. The council also approved several financial documents, including the 2025 accounts, the first 2026 budget amendment and the 2027‑2030 multi‑year budget, as well as decisions on environmental plans and health care agreements.

The neighboring municipality of Boekel scheduled a council meeting for 2 July 2026. The agenda lists more than thirty items, ranging from a proposal for semi‑permanent school housing financing to the adoption of the TAM environmental plan chapter 22d, budget proposals for 2027, and various local regulatory measures. The meeting will also address participation vision documents, regional taxi service arrangements, and the 2025 financial statements of the regional health service.

Both meetings illustrate routine local‑government proceedings in the Netherlands, focusing on budget approvals, environmental planning, and community representation.
