Dutch podcast updates: HNM returns and new dementia awareness series launches

Hélène Hendriks, Noa Vahleen, and Merel Ekkeren have announced the return of ‘HNM De Podcast’ for a second season. Following a summer break, the trio will return to the studio on September 8 to share stories regarding television, sports, and politics that often fall outside the boundaries of traditional broadcast media.

In a separate cultural development, a new podcast series titled ‘Met de groeten van Wil’ has been launched in Dokkum. Created by volunteer Hetty Combs in collaboration with RTV NOF, the ten-episode series aims to provide a voice to people living with dementia, their caregivers, and healthcare professionals. The episodes, which cover five distinct themes, are scheduled to release throughout September and early October to coincide with Dementia Month.
