Dutch radio stations announce programming updates and new seasons

Radio Lila has launched its new season with a series of discussions on spirituality and religious traditions. The season includes topics such as initiation, oral and written succession, and the influence of Hindu and Buddhist ideas in the West. Featured speakers include Paul van der Velde, who examines the roles of orientalism and New Age movements, and Wendy Doelem, who discusses Western interpretations of Indian spiritual traditions.

Meanwhile, KISS FM is implementing a new programming schedule starting August 31. Luc van Rooij, a veteran of Dutch radio and former Radio Veronica DJ, will host a weekday program from 15:00 to 18:00. The station, which celebrates its first anniversary on September 1, has expanded its reach via DAB+ and Ziggo, reaching nearly half a million listeners. KISS FM will also begin participating in official NMO listening research in September.
