Dutch theme parks prepare for Halloween season

Various Dutch theme parks are preparing for the Halloween season with diverse themed experiences and updated regulations.

Toverland is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its Halloween Nights with a transformed interactive magic show and a dedicated Halloween shop featuring horror decorations, skulls, and skeletons. The park is also bringing back the horror labyrinth, Trapped.

Slagharen is hosting Scary Prairie, which features themed worlds such as Crows Nest and The Manor, alongside new shows and a 4D film premiere. For older visitors, the park offers Western Nightmares, a darker evening experience with scare zones.

Walibi Holland has implemented stricter entry rules specifically for its Halloween Fright Nights. In addition to bans on weapons, drugs, and alcohol, the park now prohibits nationalist and racist expressions to prevent xenophobic outbursts. Security personnel are granted discretion to enforce these rules regarding clothing and related symbols.
