Dutch towns of Amersfoort and Stein approve new municipal council decisions

Stein's council set the portfolio allocation for the 2026‑2027 term, assigning the mayor responsibilities for public order, crisis management and regional cooperation, and outlining specific duties for five aldermen covering education, welfare, spatial planning, finance, tourism and other sectors, based on the Strategic Vision 2040.
