Dutch trade fairs highlight horticulture and organic food trends

Various trade fairs in the Netherlands are highlighting sector-specific trends and growth opportunities. At the Seasons Trade Fair held at KP Holland in Naaldwijk, exhibitors are showcasing plant innovations and trends for 2027. The event features 100 product groups from 10 growers, focusing on added value through themed pots, color trends, and diverse plant varieties including succulents and Alocasia.

Simultaneously, the Foodspecialiteiten trade fair in Gorinchem has seen strong representation from the organic sector. Among more than 300 exhibitors, producers of organic cheese, meats, juices, and snacks are seeking new markets. Many organic brands are looking to expand beyond traditional retail into foodservice and catering, as well as specialty delicatessen shops, to drive growth.
