Dutton Ranch Season 2 delayed until next year

The second season of Dutton Ranch, the Yellowstone spin-off created by Taylor Sheridan, will not return in 2026. Despite an official renewal following a highly successful debut on Paramount+, new episodes are expected to arrive in 2027.

The first season, which follows characters Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler in South Texas, achieved significant commercial success, amassing 12.9 million global viewers in its first week. It also received critical acclaim, maintaining high ratings on Rotten Tomatoes.

Production delays are attributed to creative changes behind the scenes. Showrunner Chad Feehan has departed the series, with Benjamin Cavell taking over leadership of the show. These transitions, combined with technical production timelines, have pushed the release date beyond the current year.
