Dávid Hancko shares career journey in new documentary

Slovak footballer Dávid Hancko is featured in a new documentary titled ‘From Prievidza to Madrid’, which offers a rare look into his private life and professional ascent. The film, exclusively presented by TIPOS, details his journey from playing on village fields in Kamenca pod Vtáčnikom to competing in the UEFA Champions League.

Hancko discusses the challenges he faced, including a severe foot injury at age 18 that required a difficult recovery and left him playing with metal in his leg. The documentary highlights the role of his father as his first coach and fan, as well as the discipline and determination required to reach the elite level of European football.
