Dávid Krčík leaves Viktoria Plzeň for FK Pardubice

Slovak defender Dávid Krčík is leaving Viktoria Plzeň to join FK Pardubice. The move comes after Krčík struggled to secure a consistent starting position following coaching changes and the arrival of new defensive reinforcements like Tobiáš Pališčák and Denis Vavro.

Krčík, who was the league's most productive defender last season with 12 goals, notably scored a decisive goal against Red Star Belgrade that helped Viktoria Plzeň secure a place in the Europa League. However, due to limited playing time under the new management, the 27-year-old Slovak international has reached a mutual agreement to depart. Krčík expressed gratitude for the opportunity at Pardubice and stated his intention to contribute to the team through his goal-scoring abilities.
