Dwayne Bravo reflects on IPL success and releases new TKR anthem

Dwayne Bravo has reflected on his career milestones, highlighting the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) 2018 IPL title as his most significant achievement. The victory was notable as it marked CSK’s comeback season following a two-year suspension. Despite critics labeling the aging squad as “Dad’s Army,” the team secured the championship with an eight-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Bravo credited the win to collective team effort and the trust shown by MS Dhoni, who encouraged him to focus on his bowling strengths. Bravo, who joined CSK in 2011, expressed his deep connection to the franchise, previously calling it the best he has ever played for.

In addition to his cricket reflections, Bravo has released a new song titled ‘5 STAR,’ which serves as the anthem for the Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) during the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026. The song celebrates TKR’s status as five-time champions. Bravo currently serves as the head coach for TKR, a role he assumed ahead of the 2025 season.
