Dwayne Johnson launches tour and releases new song for Disney's live‑action Moana

Actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announced a promotional Pacific tour for Disney’s upcoming live‑action remake of Moana. The tour will begin in Hawaii and travel to Shanghai, Sydney and several other locations, with Johnson posting an Instagram Reel to unveil the itinerary and paying tribute to his late grandfather, High Chief Peter Maivia, who inspired his portrayal of Maui.

In parallel, Johnson released the film’s first original song, “Along The Way,” featuring original voice actress Auliʻi Cravalho, newcomer Catherine Laga‘aa, and songwriter Lin‑Manuel Miranda. The track is now available on streaming platforms, with the full soundtrack slated for June 26, a deluxe edition on July 8, and the movie’s theatrical debut on July 10, 2026.
