Dwivedi Foundation honors B.C. first responders at Surrey gala

The Dwivedi Foundation hosted its annual First Responders Gala and Awards night on September 12 at the Reflections Banquet Hall in Surrey, British Columbia. The event honored 13 individuals, including police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and healthcare professionals, for their contributions to leadership, service, legacy, and mental health advocacy.

In addition to individual awards, the foundation celebrated the 140th anniversary of the Vancouver Police Department. The gala, attended by approximately 450 guests including elected officials, aimed to provide non-partisan support for first responders and acknowledge the support networks of family and colleagues who assist them in their roles.
