DWS, the asset manager controlled by Deutsche Bank, has acquired Palm Studios, a student residence in Seville, from LaSalle Investment Management. The transaction is reported to be valued at 58 million euros.

This acquisition marks DWS’s first investment in the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) sector in Spain. The facility features 544 beds, 111 parking spaces, and holds a Breeam Excellent certification. Located near the University of Seville’s Reina Mercedes campus, the asset offers amenities including study rooms, a gym, a cafeteria, a swimming pool, and a rooftop terrace.

DWS currently manages a real estate portfolio worth 1.9 billion euros across Spain and Portugal, with approximately 300 million euros in capital available for new Core and Core+ investments in the Iberian region. Beyond student housing, the firm’s residential strategy includes senior living, flexible apartments, and build-to-rent developments.
