DxAI Robotics unveils robotic horse at World Robot Conference
At the World Robot Conference 2026 in Beijing, DxAI Robotics showcased a humanoid robot riding a large robotic horse. This demonstration highlighted China's ongoing advancements in robotics technology.
The robotic horse, named the Qiji X1, is designed as a personal mobility vehicle for challenging terrains such as mud, loose stones, or steep slopes where traditional wheels may struggle. Weighing 320 kg, the Qiji X1 can carry up to 300 kg of cargo. It features a seat and handlebars for user control, though the demonstration model was operated via remote control. The vehicle has a top speed of 10 km/h and a battery range of approximately 40 km.
DxAI Robotics also introduced the Qiji XS, a version equipped with small wheels on its legs for smoother surfaces. The XS model is capable of reaching speeds up to 40 km/h. Both models have been made available for pre-order, with prices ranging from 289,000 to 359,000 yuan.
