Sixteen‑year‑old Dylan Ruming ran the opening leg of Australia’s 4x400 metre mixed relay at the World Athletics U20 Championships in Eugene, United States, posting a 46.87‑second split. The team handed the baton to Xanthee Watts and finished in 3:18.45, setting an Australian record for the age group and securing the bronze medal behind the United States (gold) and Czechia (silver).
