Dylan Sprouse and Barbara Palvin Expect First Child, a Girl

Actor Dylan Sprouse and model Barbara Palvin announced that they are expecting their first child, a baby girl. The couple revealed the gender during the debut episode of Sprouse’s new "Wildmen" podcast, saying they have been calling the unborn child “principessa,” the Italian word for princess.

Palvin, who debuted the pregnancy at the Cannes Film Festival in May 2026, spoke openly about her anxiety over rapid weight gain and body‑image pressure from her modeling career. She noted that the number on the scale was climbing quickly, her stomach felt larger, and her pants no longer fit, describing the experience as “spiralling.” Sprouse reassured her throughout, emphasizing that they are “creating life.”

The pair married in July 2023 after dating since 2018, and Palvin previously underwent surgery for endometriosis in 2025 to improve her fertility. They have not yet chosen a final name for the baby but continue to refer to her affectionately as “princess.”
