Dylan Stewart identified as top 2027 NFL Draft prospect

South Carolina edge rusher Dylan Stewart is emerging as a premier prospect for the 2027 NFL Draft. Analysts highlight his natural advantages, including an elite initial get-off and exceptional bend, which make him a candidate for a top-10 selection.

While some scouts rank Texas' Colin Simmons higher due to college production, Stewart is noted for possessing some of the most naturally gifted tools seen in a premier edge prospect. His collegiate performance includes a standout debut against Old Dominion where he recorded three sacks and seven pressures.

In recent mock draft scenarios, such as those from Bleacher Report, Stewart has been projected as the sixth-overall pick for the Arizona Cardinals. Experts suggest that while quarterback remains a priority for many teams, Stewart represents elite talent at a premium defensive position.
