Dynamic Music Pill GNOME Extension Adds Word‑by‑Word Karaoke Lyrics

The GNOME Shell extension Dynamic Music Pill has been updated to version 1.3.0. The release introduces word‑by‑word synced lyrics, displayed with karaoke‑style highlighting, by integrating two new providers – BetterLyrics and BiniLyrics – that use TTML parsing to align each word with the audio. When precise timing data is available, the lyrics appear in the pill’s applet controller, panel or dock; otherwise the extension falls back to line‑by‑line or static lyrics from its existing sources.

Additional tweaks include separate volume‑scroll control for the active media player or system volume, an optional shadow removal under album art, and minor bug fixes such as progress‑bar click behavior. The update is available on GitHub and will be published to GNOME Extensions once reviewed.
