Dynamite Entertainment announces Red Sonja and Barbarella crossover

Dynamite Entertainment has released a first look at the upcoming crossover limited series, Red Sonja / Barbarella. The project, which was previously announced at San Diego Comic-Con, brings together the sword-and-sorcery character Red Sonja and the science-fiction icon Barbarella.

Written by Homero Rios and illustrated by Diego Yapur, the story follows Barbarella as she pursues a mysterious black mirror linked to her past. Simultaneously, Red Sonja attempts to rescue an Oracle under a blood-red sky. The narrative explores how these two characters from different worlds are drawn together by fate and mystery. The series is scheduled for release on November 4, 2026.
