Dynamite Entertainment to publish new The X-Files comic series

Dynamite Entertainment has announced a new The X-Files comic series scheduled to launch this winter. Written by Joe Harris, who previously authored Season 10 and Season 11 for IDW Publishing, the series will be illustrated by Riley Brown.

Unlike previous continuations, this new run is set during the timeline of the original television series and will focus on previously unseen cases involving Agents Mulder and Scully. This announcement follows other franchise expansions in 2026, including a LEGO set and the release of The X-Files: I Want to Believe - Vrach Frankensteyn.

The comic news arrives as fans await further details regarding a Hulu reboot directed by Ryan Coogler, which is expected to star Danielle Deadwyler and Himeh Patel.
