Dynamo Dresden Bewegungsschule hosts youth movement days
The Dynamo Dresden Bewegungsschule organized two movement days at the Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion to encourage physical activity among children. The initiative aimed to address the lack of movement in the daily lives of young people, which local childcare and after-school facilities often struggle to mitigate due to capacity constraints.
Over two days, approximately 1,400 children from nearly 80 different institutions participated in the event. The program featured four movement islands with various stations, allowing children from daycare centers and after-school care to engage in playful exercise. Participants received exclusive jerseys, and the event was supported by the Ostsächsische Sparkasse Dresden, which also provided free water bottles.
