Dynamo Dresden falls to bottom of 2. Bundesliga table

Dynamo Dresden has dropped to last place in the 2. Bundesliga following a 1:2 defeat against Hannover 96. Despite leading at halftime through a goal by Nicolai Rapp, Dresden conceded two goals in the second half from Husseyn Chakroun and Marcel Hartel.

The loss follows a recent cup success where Dresden defeated Schalke 04 to advance to the DFB-Pokal round of 16. However, the team has struggled to maintain league stability, currently sitting at 18th place with only eight points from ten matches.

Dresden is scheduled to face Greuther Fürth on November 6, 2026, in a critical match to attempt to climb out of the relegation zone. Greuther Fürth currently holds ninth place with twelve points.
