Dynamo Dresden loses test match as Steffen Baumgart travels

Dynamo Dresden suffered a defeat in an international test match against Teplice. During the match, head coach Thomas Stamm utilized the international break to provide playing time to various players. Notably, goalkeeper Lennart Grill returned to the first team for the first time since November 2025. Teplice took an early lead in the second minute following a deflection by Matej Federle.

While Dresden increased their ball possession and created several opportunities through players like Christoph Daferner, they struggled to find decisive solutions in the final third.

Separately, former Union Berlin coach Steffen Baumgart is spending his time away from football on a safari in South Africa. Following his departure from Union Berlin in April, Baumgart stated he is using the hiatus to recharge and focus on personal interests, including travel with his wife, Katja.
