Dynamo Dresden unveils massive 375-square-meter mural

Dynamo Dresden has unveiled a massive 375-square-meter graffiti mural in the Johannstadt district of Dresden. The artwork, created by artist Christian Schenk, also known as ‘Colorized Graffiti’, is located on a residential building owned by the Wohnungsgenossenschaft Johannstadt (WGJ).

The mural holds sentimental value as it is situated on Pöppelmannstraße, the building where former Dynamo captain Stefan Kutschke grew up. The artwork features Kutschke alongside the late club legend Dixie Dörner. The project was funded by proceeds from the club’s 2025/26 away jersey, which featured a unique graffiti design.

Local youth from the Dresden fan project participated in the creation of the mural through a workshop. An official inauguration is scheduled for September 17, featuring an autograph session with Kutschke.
