DYPA opens 2026 seasonal allowance applications in Greece

The Greek Public Employment Service (DYPA) has opened the application period for the 2026 Special Seasonal Allowance. Eligible workers can receive amounts ranging from 719 to 1,438 euros, depending on their professional category.

To qualify, workers must be mandatorily insured with e-EFKA and belong to specific sectors. Included categories are construction workers, tourism and catering staff, musicians, actors, dancers, shipyard workers, and certain technical professionals. Eligibility is also subject to meeting specific insurance day requirements from 2025.

Applications can be submitted electronically via gov.gr until November 30, 2026, at 14:00. Starting September 23, applications can also be processed through Citizens' Service Centers (KEP).
