Dyslexia Week 2026 to be held in Sweden
Dyslexia Week 2026 is scheduled to take place from October 5 to October 11 in Sweden. The event features various lectures and arrangements across the country under the theme “Two steps forward – one step back? Dyslexia then, now and tomorrow.”
Organizers aim to address the progress made in accessibility and the potential risks posed by recent policy rhetoric, such as mobile phone bans, which may hinder the use of assistive technologies. The week includes a panel discussion on the history and future of the dyslexia movement on October 5, and the presentation of the Dyslexia Prize on October 9. The prize ceremony will be held at the Bernadotte Library in Stockholm Palace, with Prince Carl Philip, the patron of the Swedish Dyslexia Association, serving as the presenter.
