Dyson and Narwal announce new robot vacuum cleaner models

Dyson has announced three new robot vacuum models: the R1 Nurovi Dry, the R2 Nurovi Wash+Dry, and the R3 Nurovi Spot+Scrub. The R1 model, priced at 95,900 yen in Japan, features 21,000Pa suction power, a dual-intake system for different debris sizes, and an extendable side brush for edge cleaning. It utilizes LiDAR for mapping and line lasers for obstacle avoidance. The R2 model adds automatic mopping capabilities, including hot water washing and warm air drying for the pads at its docking station. The high-end R3 model, not yet released in Japan, includes an AI vision camera and 30,000Pa suction.

Additionally, the Narwal Freo Pro robot vacuum has been released. It offers 10,000Pa suction power and features a “zero tangle” system designed to prevent hair from obstructing the rollers. The device uses DirtSense™ technology to detect floor cleanliness in real-time and applies up to 1.2kg of pressure during its dual-mop cleaning process.
